Payment Upfront Policy
After many years in practice and trial and error on what works best, I’ve decided to change some policies for the benefit of all !
From this point in time, all clients are required to pay in full at the time of booking their appointment. This applies to all types of treatments, including initial consultations, follow-up sessions, online sessions/courses and any specialized treatment packages. Payment is necessary to secure your appointment and avoid scheduling conflicts.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, i ask that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. This will allow your payment to be applied to your new appointment time with no additional charge. In the case of cancellations made 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment, your payment will be fully credited for future use.
However - rescheduling within 24 hours of appointment time will be considered a cancellation and the session fee will be forfeited (except in the case of contagious illness).
For clients who purchase treatment packages or memberships, full payment must be made upfront at the time of purchase. Please note that package and membership payments are non-refundable, but they can be applied to future treatments if rescheduled within the terms of the cancellation policy.
Sickness Policy
To ensure a safe and healing experience for all, I kindly request that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness that could be contagious. Acupuncture is most effective when your body is in a stable condition, and by rescheduling, you help protect other patients, myself and yourself.
Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing symptoms such as
fever,
Acute cough,
sore throat,
sneezing,
nasal congestion,
body aches,
chills,
Acute fatigue related to illness,
gastrointestinal issues like nausea,
vomiting,
or diarrhea,
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing that is unrelated to chronic conditions,
or a loss of taste or smell.
If you are uncertain whether your symptoms warrant rescheduling, please do not hesitate to contact me for guidance.
In regards to the rescheduling and cancellation policy, there will be no cancellation fees for appointments that need to be rescheduled due to illness. I prioritise transparency and safety, and in the case of contagious illness encourage you to reschedule without concern for penalties.
